Okay fellows, you got me. No, this is indeed not a buffalo hunting related picture. It's a hunting photograph of me and my lady Maria at a living history event in Michigan where we portrayed Victorian recreational hunters for the public. What makes it cool is that Maria and I did actually go hunting with our period shot guns (loaded with 12 ga brass shot shells with black powder & #5 shot) not too far from where this photograph was made. While it was a fun living history event interacting with the public we went bust on hunting and didn't bag any critters. Brass Attachments:

Thats a cool pic Brass ,my wife and I had one made in Old Washington ,Ark .doing a living history also and wow they look 150 years old when they come out of the chemicals .Ill try to get my smart youngun to post it for me

Patriot - It would be cool to see your tintype posted here too. Indeed, the old way of making photographs does add something that modern photography just cant replicate.
