i got this spencer rifle in a trade/sale. i sold my '79 harley to a gun dealer in arkansas and he had this brand new in the box taylors spencer carbine in 56-50 caliber. he gave me the spencer along with some cash i never shot it. i traded it for a sharps business rifle. sure do love the sharps but i wish i had this back.

B.B. - Indeed, too bad you parted with it. However, such can be seen as an opportunity as well: Perhaps you can snag a three-bander .56-50 Spencer in the future. Now that would be extremely cool.

yes i plan on having another one, and a 3 bander would be what i'll get. i like rifles over carbines. i have a magazine and in a article they did on a spencer it had a jemmer conversion done to it. now that was a sharp looking rifle.
