My favorites: Remington NM Army circa 1864 2nd Gen. - 2nd model Dragoon 2nd Gen. Army The old girl at the top shoots every bit as well as the modern ones.

There are a few newer acquisitions missing from the photo and the muskets aren’t in there but here is my pile or iron (mix of cap-&-ball revolver & cartridge stuff). Brass

james very nice cap and balls. i have a pair of 51 navies that are 3rd generations. a pair of 2nd or 3rd generation armies is want/wish list. seems the price of both have gone through the roof lately
brass that is a very nice pile of iron you have. seeing your spencer makes me miss mine even more. what caliber is your '76?

I need to get some updated pics up but this Colt 2nd gen Navy has been a good friend on many shooting trips. Attachments:

Thanks Billy,
The belt is a double-tongued work belt don by Don Smith of the Trans-Mississippi Depot Company and the holster is a Chuck Childs repro of a common Main & Winchester 1854-55 pattern. The pistol is a 2nd gen Colt navy.

Now that I have some time (finally), I can throw in my collection. I have a lot of modern stuff and a lot of black powder but admittedly, I have a limited interest in the 1870-1890 cartridge guns. I don't dislike them. I just like either the modern or the pre-1870s stuff. Here are some of mine. Attachments:
