Howdy Gents. I sure was glad to find your camp. I am out of tobacco and short on whiskey. I live up on the Souris River in the Dakotas. I portray a Plainsman of the late '40s and early '50s. I hunt out of Ft Union near the confluence of the Yellowstone and the Missouri. I also am a Buffalo Bill Cody impersonator. I have been doing Cody for about 6 years at a variety of events. This weekend, I am speaking at an event here in Minot (North Dakota) that is bound to be memorable. I am sharing the speaking duties with Ernie LaPointe. Ernie is the Great Grandson and only male descendent of Sitting Bull. He has recently written a book about his Grandfather called "Sitting Bull His Life and Legacy". It is well worth the $20.00 they are asking for it. I guess that I had better not wear out my welcome with a loose jaw bone. I have been a member here for a while but just now felt like opening my mouth.

Greetings Badger - Welcome to the group, you're a welcomed addition. And your Cody connection is quite interesting.
It's been rather quite around here over the Winter, but I think it will pick up soon and the fellows will have more news to share. Looking forward to your posts.

If I can figure out how to post pics, I would be happy to post some of my Buffalo Bill photos. I sure hope this site picks up soon. I think this place has HUGE possibities. Have a good weekend.

get either a photbucket account or a flickr account. save your picture to the account and then up load them from there.
i started out with photo bucket but it got too difficult and i got a flickr account and it works better for me. both sites offer free accounts.
i hope things will pick up around here to. alot of very knowledgable people here
